Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of DragonEyes Inc. (“the Company”) and its users regarding the use of the online harmful-content monitoring service, the keyword trend monitoring service, the university research and industry-collaboration service, and the online-safety campaign service (“the Service”) provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • Customer — an education office, school, institution, or corporation that has entered into a contract with the Company and uses the Service
  • Monitoring agent — a user who belongs to a customer and performs monitoring work
  • Partner — a business that has entered into a distributor/reseller agreement with the Company
  • Campaign user — a student, parent, or school staff member participating in an online-safety campaign
  • University user — a university administrator, lab member (researcher), or industry-collaboration company contact using the university service
  • Keyword trend monitoring — a service that judges public posts against keywords and answer items set by a customer and provides the results as statistics
  • License — the right to use the Service granted to a customer under a contract

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)

These Terms take effect upon being posted on the Service screen. The Company may amend the Terms within the bounds of applicable law, and when it does so it will announce the effective date and reason at least 7 days before the effective date (at least 30 days beforefor changes unfavorable to users).

Article 4 (Accounts and Licenses)

  • Monitoring and customer accounts are issued by the Company or a customer administrator after a contract is concluded.
  • Licenses are granted on a named-user basis (one account per person) or a concurrent-user basis (a limit on the number of registered users using the Service at the same time).
  • For the concurrent-user basis, reserve users may be registered up to 5 times the quantity held; registration beyond that is subject to charges.
  • Users may not share or transfer their account to others, and are responsible for managing their own account.

Article 5 (Provision of the Service)

As a rule the Company provides the Service 24 hours a day, year-round. However, where there are unavoidable reasons such as system maintenance or replacement, communication failures, or acts of nature, the Company may suspend all or part of the Service, with prior notice; in urgent cases it will give notice afterward.

Article 5-2 (Keyword Trend Monitoring)

  • A customer administrator sets keywords and answer items (format and number) and can view the results as charts and figures.
  • Keywords entered by a customer and their statistics are viewable only by the Company and that customer's administrators. They are shown to the customer's monitoring agents only if the administrator chooses to do so.
  • The Company does not provide a customer's keywords or statistics to other customers or use them as analysis material for other customers.

Article 5-3 (University Service)

  • The university service supports registering, approving and managing research projects, thesis supervision and industry-collaboration projects (including tasks and outcomes), research surveys, and university ESG data. It does not replace academic administration systems (enrollment, grades, etc.).
  • Viewing scope depends on affiliation and role: a lab sees only its own projects, a partner company sees only the projects it joined, and university-wide status is visible only to university administrators and persons the university designates.
  • Records are managed by year; past-year records are read-only within the user's scope.
  • Research data (raw survey data, monitoring statistics) is exported only with the project lead's approval, and all viewing and export is logged for audit. Exported data may not be used for non-research purposes or redistributed.

Article 5-4 (AI Features)

  • Some features (first-pass harmful-content classification, registration-form auto-fill, summaries and suggestions) use generative AI.
  • AI results are for reference and may be wrong. Users review and decide the final judgment and registered content.
  • Overseas transfer for AI processing follows Section 5-1 of the Privacy Policy.

Article 6 (Users' Obligations)

  • Not to use information learned during monitoring for purposes other than the work, or disclose it externally
  • Not to misappropriate another person's account or interfere with the operation of the Service
  • Not to reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit materials provided by the Service without the Company's consent
  • To comply with applicable laws, these Terms, and the guidance provided within the Service

Article 7 (Paid Services and Refunds)

  • The types and prices of paid services are displayed on the Service screen.
  • Users may withdraw their subscription (cancel their offer) under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
  • Where grounds set by law apply — such as content already having been used — the right to withdraw may be restricted, in which case the Company gives prior notice.
  • Refunds are processed according to the procedures for each payment method, and the processing is kept on record.

Article 8 (Intellectual Property)

Intellectual property rights in the Service and the software, learning materials, report templates, and the like contained within it belong to the Company. Rights in materials that a user inputs or creates in the Service belong to that user or their organization, and the Company uses them only to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

Article 9 (Protection of Personal Information)

The Company protects personal information in accordance with applicable laws; the specifics are set out in the Privacy Policy.

Article 9-2 (Data Access and Auditing)

(1) For service operation, customer support, incident response, and legal compliance, the Company may access and manage customer data and accounts to the minimum extent necessary through an authorized administrator, and this access authority is deemed consented to by the customer's conclusion of the service agreement.

(2) All viewing, searching, and export of data is preserved in tamper-proof audit records, and a customer may check the access records relating to itself at any time.

(3) When a partner not belonging to the Company, or an administrator of another customer, views or searches a specific customer's information, that customer's administrator is automatically notified, and access beyond one's scope is blocked by the system. (Access performed by the Company's headquarters administrators for customer support and operational purposes is under the consented authority in (1) above; such access is logged but may be excluded from separate notification.)

Article 10 (Disclaimer and Liability)

The Company provides AI analysis results as reference material; final judgments and actions are the responsibility of the user or their organization. The Company is not liable for damages arising from causes not attributable to it, such as acts of nature, the user's fault, or failures of third-party services.

Article 11 (Termination)

A customer may terminate the service agreement in accordance with the procedures set out in the contract. If a user materially breaches these Terms, the Company may restrict use or terminate the contract, giving prior notice of the reason.

Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)

Disputes concerning these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the court with jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall be the court of first instance.
